There are many different areas to buy property in Northern Cyprus:
Alsancak
Alsancak is a little village which is based on the slopes of the
Kyrenia Mountains and is only 8 miles west of the glorious historical
town of Kyrenia.
Bahceli
Situated in the Esentepe region of North Cyprus, Bahceli boasts
some of the most beautiful and un spoilt scenery on the island.
The area has remained untouched for hundreds of years and is still
relatively undeveloped.
Baspinar
Set high above the village of Lapta is Baspinar, well-known for
its mountain spring, breathtaking views, sleepy atmosphere and cooling
breeze. The ideal place to spend lazy days enjoying the views or
a variety of excellent walks in the Besparmak mountains.
Bellapais
It is superbly situated on a natural rock escarpment, halfway up
the northern hill slopes, magnificent views of the Kyrenia coast
below and rugged pinnacles of the Kyrenia range tower behind.
Bogaz
Bogaz is a charming coastal village on the southern edge of the
Karpas Peninsula, a few km north of Iskele, and 25 km north of Famagusta.
Camlibel
Camlibel is 15 miles West of Kyrenia at the end of the Kyrenia range
and 3 miles south of the coast. 800 feet above sea level the air
is beautifully clear and free from humidity.
Catalkoy
Catalkoy is just east of Bellapais Abbey and ten minutes drive from
the centre of Kyrenia.
Dogankoy
A convenient location, only a few minutes drive from Kyrenia.
Esentepe
Esentepe is a beautiful and picturesque traditional village nestled
in the mountains, overlooking some of the nicest beaches and bays
in Cyprus, located east of Kyrenia, while the new road that opened
just several months ago makes the access from Kyrenia to Esentepe
very easy, only a 20 minute drive.
Ilgaz
A quiet mountainside village with superb scenery with one restaurant
serving the village and many others situated at the bottom of the
hill.
Karaagac
Karaagac is East of Kyrenia, located near Esentepe and has magnificent
sea and mountain views.
Karakum
Close to the sea and 1 mile East of Kyrenia town centre with beautiful
views of the Besparmak mountain range.
Karaoglanoglu
Approximately 3 miles west of Kyrenia is the village of Karaoglanoglu.
There are a few bars, some excellent restaurants and picturesque
beaches and coves, in particular, Kervansaray Beach which affords
some of the most stunning sunsets due to its westerly outlook.
Karisyaka
Located west of Kyrenia and approximately 30 minutes by car the
area affords stunning views of the highest mountain in the Besparmak
mountain range.
Kyrenia
This fascinating town is situated on the northern coast of Cyprus.
Its horseshoe shaped harbour with backdrop of the Besparmak (or
Five Finger) Mountains make Kyrenia one of the most beautiful areas
on the island.
Lapta
Renowned for its fresh water springs and laid back way of life,
Lapta is a sprawling village approximately 9 miles west of Kyrenia.
It is backed by the Besparmak Mountains and offers spectacular views
of both sea and mountains.
Malatya
Malatya is a small village in the mountains above Alsancak and Incesu.
There are spectacular walks in the area and a picturesque waterfall
just above Malatya, an ideal place for a picnic. It is a short drive
to Denizkizi and Escape's sandy beaches.
Ozankoy
Conveniently located approximately 2 miles east of Kyrenia, the
village has excellent views to Bellapais, the mountains and the
Mediterranean and a good selection of restaurants.
Tatlisu
A small village west of Kyrenia near Esentepe. The construction
of a championship 18-hole golf course and a new yachting marina
looks set to put the spotlight on the East and the villages of Esentepe,
Tatlisu in particular.
Yesiltepe
Located between Alsancak and Karaoglanoglu on the lower slopes of
the mountain range is the area of Yesiltepe. It is conveniently
located close to several sandy beaches, restaurants, bars, hotels
and shops and is not far from the main coastal road.
Zeytinlik
Within easy access of Kyrenia yet set in a tranquil, rural position
amongst olive groves and overlooked by the spectacular St Hilarion
Castle.
