North Cyprus Property Areas

There are many different areas to buy property in Northern Cyprus:

Alsancak is a little village which is based on the slopes of the Kyrenia Mountains and is only 8 miles west of the glorious historical town of Kyrenia.

Situated in the Esentepe region of North Cyprus, Bahceli boasts some of the most beautiful and un spoilt scenery on the island. The area has remained untouched for hundreds of years and is still relatively undeveloped.

Set high above the village of Lapta is Baspinar, well-known for its mountain spring, breathtaking views, sleepy atmosphere and cooling breeze. The ideal place to spend lazy days enjoying the views or a variety of excellent walks in the Besparmak mountains.

It is superbly situated on a natural rock escarpment, halfway up the northern hill slopes, magnificent views of the Kyrenia coast below and rugged pinnacles of the Kyrenia range tower behind.

Bogaz is a charming coastal village on the southern edge of the Karpas Peninsula, a few km north of Iskele, and 25 km north of Famagusta.

Camlibel is 15 miles West of Kyrenia at the end of the Kyrenia range and 3 miles south of the coast. 800 feet above sea level the air is beautifully clear and free from humidity.

Catalkoy is just east of Bellapais Abbey and ten minutes drive from the centre of Kyrenia.

A convenient location, only a few minutes drive from Kyrenia.

Esentepe is a beautiful and picturesque traditional village nestled in the mountains, overlooking some of the nicest beaches and bays in Cyprus, located east of Kyrenia, while the new road that opened just several months ago makes the access from Kyrenia to Esentepe very easy, only a 20 minute drive.

A quiet mountainside village with superb scenery with one restaurant serving the village and many others situated at the bottom of the hill.

Karaagac is East of Kyrenia, located near Esentepe and has magnificent sea and mountain views.

Close to the sea and 1 mile East of Kyrenia town centre with beautiful views of the Besparmak mountain range.

Approximately 3 miles west of Kyrenia is the village of Karaoglanoglu. There are a few bars, some excellent restaurants and picturesque beaches and coves, in particular, Kervansaray Beach which affords some of the most stunning sunsets due to its westerly outlook.

Located west of Kyrenia and approximately 30 minutes by car the area affords stunning views of the highest mountain in the Besparmak mountain range.

This fascinating town is situated on the northern coast of Cyprus. Its horseshoe shaped harbour with backdrop of the Besparmak (or Five Finger) Mountains make Kyrenia one of the most beautiful areas on the island.

Renowned for its fresh water springs and laid back way of life, Lapta is a sprawling village approximately 9 miles west of Kyrenia. It is backed by the Besparmak Mountains and offers spectacular views of both sea and mountains.

Malatya is a small village in the mountains above Alsancak and Incesu. There are spectacular walks in the area and a picturesque waterfall just above Malatya, an ideal place for a picnic. It is a short drive to Denizkizi and Escape's sandy beaches.

Conveniently located approximately 2 miles east of Kyrenia, the village has excellent views to Bellapais, the mountains and the Mediterranean and a good selection of restaurants.

A small village west of Kyrenia near Esentepe. The construction of a championship 18-hole golf course and a new yachting marina looks set to put the spotlight on the East and the villages of Esentepe, Tatlisu in particular.

Located between Alsancak and Karaoglanoglu on the lower slopes of the mountain range is the area of Yesiltepe. It is conveniently located close to several sandy beaches, restaurants, bars, hotels and shops and is not far from the main coastal road.
